Post Office and Four Corner Market. Wildfire safe at home? Check tonight The Modoc Fire Safe Council offers program to help the senior citizens
or disabled residents of Modoc County to increase the survivability
of their homes from wildfire. To learn more about the Landowner Assistance

the Forest Service Conference Room, 800 W. 12th St. (Hwy 299), Alturas.

Family Development Center, 901 N.E. "A" Street, Alturas.

Saturday, May 10th Help Stamp Out Hunger Letter carriers annual Food Drive on Saturday, May 10
will welcome a box, can or bag of non-perishable food next to their
mailbox before their letter carrier delivers mail on Saturday, May
10. The carrier will do the rest. The food is taken back to a postal
station, sorted and then delivered to the area food bank and pantry.
There it is available for needy families. Silhouette shoot Alturas Rifle and Pistol Club will hold their monthly
22 silhouette shoot at the club range on Centerville Road on Saturday,

233-4359. Legion to host District meeting American Legion District Three meeting will be held

permit (CCW) holders will be offered Sunday, May 11 from 8 a.m. to
4 p.m. at Alturas Rifle and Pistol Range. Class size is limited to a maximum of 20 participants. Each participant needs to furnish a minimum of 100 rounds of ammunition for the required range shooting time. The cost is $100 for the full day of instruction. Library closes for two days Modoc County Library in Alturas will be closed on May 19 and 20,
Monday and Tuesday for staff training. The Library will reopen at
